To re-order simply tick on the form which medicines you need and where you want to collect your prescription &#8211; health centre or a specified chemist.<\/p>\n<p>Put your form in the prescription box on the counter and your prescription will be ready for collection 24 hours later at the Health Centre or 48 hours later (2 working days) from the chemist.<\/p>\n<p>You may also order online by clicking on the link at the top of this page.<\/p>\n<p>Alternatively you can post your form to the surgery with a stamped addressed envelope and we will send you your prescription.<\/p>\n<p>If you require a prescription for the weekend please ensure you have handed your re-order form in by Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Please note we DO NOT accept requests for prescriptions by phone.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>If there are items on the list, which you no longer use, please let us know so your details are up to date.<\/li>\n<li>Please ensure you order your prescriptions on time so you do not end up running out of vital medicines.<\/li>\n<li>Please do not order medications too early or allow big stocks to build up in your house. By avoiding waste in the prescribing the NHS can use the money for patient services.<\/li>\n<li>You may be given a generic medication, this is a name change only \u2013 not a change in your actual medication<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Medication to delay periods<\/h3>\n<p>We no longer prescribe Norethisterone, or other medications for women and girls looking to delay periods for holidays or special events.\u00a0 This falls out with our core contracted work. Norethisterone is available over the counter from participating pharmacies so please contact them so they can assess your suitability for this medication.<\/p>\n<p>We continue to provide a range of women\u2019s health services and of course offer treatment for a range of menstrual problems along with contraceptive services. August 2024<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3>Questions about your prescription<\/h3>\n<p>If you have questions about your medicine, your local pharmacists can answer these.
