This specialist is a &#8220;First Contact&#8221; clinician and provides advanced level assessment, clinical diagnosis and management of patients presenting with MSK symptoms. This is a very quick route to diagnosis, advice and support. They are able to request x-rays where required and refer to other services. Fit notes and medication can also be arranged during your appointment. Classes are designed to help build and maintain strength, co ordination, endurance and flexibility.\u00a0Vitality classes are suitable for individuals with medical conditions including: stroke, heart conditions, Parkinson\u2019s disease, multiple sclerosis, osteoporosis and are designed to support individuals to make daily life and activities more manageable.<\/p>\n<p>Classes are available in four levels:<\/p>\n<p>Level 1 : Strength and balance ( chair based, attend\u00a0 with or without\u00a0 mobility aids)<\/p>\n<p>Level 2 : Strength and Balance Circuit (mixed ability- attend with or without mobility aids)<\/p>\n<p>Level 3 : Step in Circuit (independent mobility required)<\/p>\n<p>Level 4 : Step Up Circuit (independent mobility required)<\/p>\n<p>All Vitality classes are led by highly trained and experienced instructors, and are designed to be adapted to suit any participant.
